In 20th century San Francisco, a white woman is murdered in Chinatown. The suspect is Chinese. The murder caused a social shock and public opinion demanded that Chinatown be banned. Qin Fu (Liu Haoran), a Chinese doctor, and Ah Gui (Wang Baoqiang), a Chinese, are involved in the case and race against time to find the murderer.
